Color palette reference
Skin-tone palettes are useful when a product needs warmth and human reference, but they should represent a range rather than a single default. Use the colors thoughtfully and in context.
Pair warm skin tones with neutral stone, cocoa, or muted blue to create separation. Keep the surrounding UI quiet so the palette supports people and imagery rather than flattening them into decoration.
Warm midtones can be difficult for both light and dark text. Test labels and controls against each shade, and never use color alone to communicate identity or status.
