Night palettes create atmosphere through a layered dark field and one visible source of light. They are useful for immersive screens, but still need a practical text and focus system.
Use several dark surface steps instead of one black canvas. Let a cool accent establish interaction, then add a warm highlight only where the composition needs a second focal point.
Do not solve dark mode with low-opacity white alone. Verify secondary text, code, placeholders, and focus rings against each surface layer.
