Gold can signal value without making an interface feel ornamental. The most useful combinations treat gold as a measured accent and give it a calm surface and readable dark companion.
Deep charcoal, espresso, and blue-black make gold feel deliberate. Combine it with cream for a lighter direction, but keep metallic warmth in one controlled region.
Yellow-gold fills are usually poor backgrounds for white text. Use a dark ink foreground or move the gold to borders and icons where it can remain an accent.
