Color palette reference
Halloween palettes create mood through a dark base and a small number of high-signal accents. Use the theme as a design constraint, not a reason to make every component glow.
Charcoal and plum form a quieter foundation than pure black. Use pumpkin for primary emphasis and acid green only for a secondary signal or small illustrative detail.
Orange and acid green need careful foreground choices, while purple can disappear into charcoal. Check text, focus, and status treatments independently from decorative effects.
Use the build a halloween gradient to turn this family into an interface-ready system, or read anti-slop design with gradientdeck for the implementation decisions behind the visual output.
